Just got back. we rented a scooter from our hotel. the better the hotel the better the scooter. if you dont like the scooters at your hotel you can rent them downtwon varadero. its my belief all the scooters for rent are owned by the same company.

Roads / streets in Varadero aren't all that great and unless you're an experienced driver you'll find it challenging at the least and a little terrifying at the most.
